- Why do I need to join Locum Express?
Locum Express is a specialist recruitment agency for Healthcare Professionals such Retail and Hospital Pharmacists, Optometerists, Contact Len Fitter, Dispensers, Technicians and now Dentist and Audiologists. We have access to many jobs which we can introduce you to, within both Community and Hospital areas. In addition to this, we will provide you with support, information and career advice as well as negotiate a better salary structure on your behalf.
- What if I have never used their systems before?
We will initially place you in a store where they have a dispenser and/or support staff until you are familiar with their systems. Or we can arrange a training sessions, if needed.
- Do I get a choice of where to work?
Of course you do! We will offer you vacancies available and you can choose where you want to work.
- How far do I have to travel?
This is totally up to you but please be flexible to maximise your earnings.
- How many days a week do I work?
This is up to you to choose what days and hours to work. Most stores are open nine hours a day, but sometimes there are variations of which you will be informed in advance.
- Do I need Professional Indemnity Insurance?
Yes, you may be covered with the Indemnity Insurance which is provided by most of companies when you work via Locum Express Ltd. As a rule most of the large retailers and hospitals may have adequate cover. However limitations apply for which you may want to take out additional cover. We highly recommend that you have take your own Professional Indemnity to protect yourself for any negligence. Some clients such as Asda and Boots the Chemists does not cover locums, if you are not sure, please verify with us and client's store when assignment given.
