Locum Express has gone strength to strength by starting with Opticians Division in June 2002 to Pharmacy in October 2002 and now Audiology and Dentistry Divisions which are newly opened in October 2007, we need your support by you registering and talking about our services within your professional environments and healthcare team. And at our end, we will keeping in touch base with the clients by phones and advertising in order to help us find you jobs and fulfil yours dates.
Some positions can be part time although most are full time between 35-37.5 hours per week, usually between the hours of 9am-5pm.
Audiologist
An audiologist works with patients to identify and assess hearing and/or balance disorders, recommending and providing appropriate rehabilitation and management.
Most audiologists work in hospitals, university, Nursing homes, multiple retails organisations or private clinics assessing and treating patients hearing. There is a 4 years degree course to qualify as an Audiologist in the UK.
Speech Therapists & Sign Language Therapists
Speech & Sign Language Therapists works close by with children and adults with speech difficulties due to some hearing loss or sound or words not reaching out correctly. Therefore speech & Sign language therapists can assess, treats and help people to improve communicaton by speech or Sign language.

Wages are normally paid by completing a timesheet on a weekly basis, have this authorised by the client and then send this to us by fax or post. Upon receipt of an authorised timesheet that reaches us by Tuesday, we will make a payment to you by Friday of the same week.
If this is your only or main job, we require your P45, if you do not have a P45 please contact our team who will advise you what to do. When working on a PAYE (pay as you earn) basis you will be sent a payslip that details your earnings and deductions as required with the Inland Revenue.
If you choose to work through a limited company we will require all of the relevant documents, our team will explain what is required.
